Recently I purchased a new pair of shoes, the kind with shiny metal pieces nailed to the bottom.
A month or two ago, I felt the urging in my soul to tap dance again. Why not? It’s only been 56 years since I donned a pair of these noisy, slippery slippers! Usually it’s customary to attend classes with other aspiring tappers of the same age. Plenty of classes for 7 year-olds popped up in my search but not one class for 71 year-old retired school librarians! What is this world coming to? You will never guess where I found 1000’s of classes! YouTube of course!
So every day for the last 3 weeks, I’ve been attempting to dust off my flap ball changes and my shuffle off to Buffalos! The whole idea is to have tons of fun and it’s working!
I believe I am placed on this earth by a loving Heavenly Father who desires that I live each day to the fullest. And with His help, I can! I love books, babies, rhythm, chocolate, trees, birds, stick shift cars, and my Bible, to name a few.
I cherish by family and my friends and the joy they give me every day.
